Alberto relishes in the inherent inclusiveness of architecture; the interconnected and relational nature of things is nowhere more apparent than in the development of a building or master plan. In this expansiveness, he hones in on the social aspect, always considering the user and how they will interact with spaces at any scale. He takes this human approach to design as well as project management, considering himself a generalist at heart.

Alberto earned his Master of Architecture and a second Master of Urban and Community Design from the University of South Florida, during which time he produced his thesis, “The Third Realm” exploring the opportunities of evolving the suburb rather than abandoning it by using multi-use spaces to make evident the communities that reside there. He also received a Training Course Certificate from the Auroville Earth Institute in India, where he witnessed sustainable, collaborative communities that resonated with him deeply and have informed his subsequent work.
